Mission · In development

Shorten the time from launch to located.

In a search, coverage and speed save lives. The platform is being designed to sweep large, difficult areas with thermal sensing and autonomous patterns — and to relay communications where terrain has cut them off.

The outcome

Search and rescue is a race against terrain, weather and daylight. Crews need thorough coverage of large areas, the ability to see a person in dense forest or water, and communications that survive where the terrain does not cooperate.

The Mission Intelligence Platform is being designed to fly efficient autonomous search patterns, detect heat signatures against a cluttered background, and act as a communications relay for the teams on the ground — with a long-range Group 3 platform on the roadmap for the hardest reaches.

Designed to enable
  • Cover large, difficult search areas quickly and thoroughly
  • See a person where the naked eye and daylight fail
  • Keep dispersed teams connected through a communications relay
  • Deliver supplies or relay equipment into places crews cannot easily reach

Where the platform draws from

This outcome is not one vehicle. The Mission Intelligence Platform draws on whichever operating domains fit the job.

Air

Group 2 aircraft — and a planned long-range Group 3 platform — flying thermal search and mapping.

The intelligence behind it

Sensing and AI woven in where they earn their place — as recommendations to a qualified human, never an autonomous decision to act.

Thermal and multispectral sensing

Day/night imaging designed to pick a human signature out of forest, rubble or water.

Terrain mapping

Rapid, current maps of the search area to focus effort and coordinate teams.

Autonomous search patterns

Adaptive coverage of large areas so no ground is missed, inside operator-set limits.

Anomaly detection

Learned models that flag the signature that stands out from the background.

Mission outcomes describe design intent for a pre-production program. Measured performance will be published by configuration as engineering and test mature.
