Coastlines, port approaches and exclusive economic zones are vast and thinly watched. Air and surface systems are being designed to team on one picture — extending persistent awareness far past the beach.
The outcome
Maritime domains are enormous relative to the assets watching them. Smuggling, illegal fishing and intrusions happen in the gaps between patrols, far offshore, in conditions that punish crewed assets.
The platform is being designed so an offshore surface vessel and a Group 2 aircraft share one mission picture — radar and EO/IR fused, with anomaly detection flagging the contact that does not behave like ordinary traffic.
